Maundy Thursday Service

All are welcome to this special service in our sanctuary (in-person only).

We will begin with an opportunity for foot washing at 6PM, followed by a candlelight service of Tenebra (the Shadows) at 7PM as we read together the events of Jesus’ last night.

We will sing songs from the Taizé tradition and share scriptures and prayers. An opportunity to light votive candles and venerate the cross will also be given for those who wish.

Our Easter Sunday celebration starts with a delicious breakfast served from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., followed by a fun Easter egg hunt for the keiki and Easter Sunday (hybrid) worship at 10:30.

Adult Education: Medicare Fraud Prevention

Join us at 9:00 a.m. in the Ross Davis room to hear Susan Labow, volunteer with SMP Hawaiʻi, will be sharing important information on Medicare fraud prevention and abuse.

Everyone is welcome to attend -- this session is not just for retirees, but for anyone with aging parents, grandparents, or friends.

All are welcome to join our traditional modified labyrinth walk in our sanctuary, or to light a candle of remembrance or intention.  Kahu David will be there to impose ashes upon your forehead if you so desire.

Taizé style worship service of beautiful chants, readings and reflection will start at 6PM.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peacemaker Award Service and Celebration

We are delighted to present this year's Church of the Crossroads Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peacemaker award to sisters Meleanna Meyer, Maile Meyer and Manulani Aluli Meyer for their tireless efforts to support and strengthen native Hawaiians through art, education, and activism.

Celebration and fellowship will continue following the service with a light reception in Weaver Hall.

Join us as we celebrate the life and ministry of Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual MLK Jr. Parade. This parade is a chance for our community to show up and shout for justice and peace! 

Meet at Magic Island by/at 8:30a.m.; parade begins at 9:00a.m. and ends at Kapiolani park. Look for our Crossroads shirts and our banner.

*NEW DATE: Adult Ed Session - Criminal Justice

*(This session was previously scheduled for Nov. 17.)

Please join us on Nov. 24 in the Ross Davis room at 9:00AM to hear from Linda Rich on Criminal Justice issues in Hawaii.  Linda will be discussing who we incarcerate, what happens as inmates move through the system, and what efforts are being made to shift the corrections system from punishment to rehabilitation.
