NO Choir Rehearsal
We will not be rehearsing on Thanksgiving day but will be joyfully singing in Sunday worship - Dec. 1st.

Please join us on Nov. 24 in the Ross Davis room at 9:00AM to hear from Linda Rich on Criminal Justice issues in Hawaii. Linda will be discussing who we incarcerate, what happens as inmates move through the system, and what efforts are being made to shift the corrections system from punishment to rehabilitation.

In this session on gun safety, we will hear from Ellen Carson and Deb Nehmad, Hawaii chapter leader for Brady United.

Join us in the Ross Davis room to hear from Ellen Carson and Galen Fox on best strategies for creating more affordable housing, including the ALOHA Homes model proposed by Senator Chang; an Empty Homes Tax for Honolulu; increased Conveyance Taxes for high-end properties.

Adult Ed Session - Red Hill Update
We will hear from our Madison Owens about the Red Hill water crisis and an update on the Navy Closure Task Force and recent developments in defueling the tanks. She will also share her personal experiences working on the frontlines with community organizers and the Community Representation Initiative for Red Hill.
(Hybrid) Celebration of Life for Jean Coffman
We will be celebrating the beautiful life of our dear Jean Coffman. Visitation at 10:00 a.m.; Slideshow at 10:20 a.m.; Service begins at 10:30 with reception to follow in Weaver Hall.

Adult Ed - “Kidney Friendly - A True Success Story”
Mala Lange will share her book, Kidney Friendly - A True Success Story: A memoir of food, courage and hope, which chronicles the 10-year journey of difficulties, sadness, coping strategies, joys, and successes of Mala and her husband, Leonard, through his kidney disease. Lunch, with recipes Mala has created, will follow this presentation.
