Adult Ed Session - Affordable Housing & Empty Homes Tax (EHT)

Ellen Carson and Galen Fox will be leading our Adult Education hour on the topic of Affordable Housing in Hawaii.  Ellen and Galen will be discussing best strategies for creating more affordable housing, including the ALOHA Homes model proposed by Senator Chang; an Empty Homes  Tax for Honolulu; increased Conveyance Taxes for high-end properties, and improving permit and building requirements to facilitate more affordable construction options, while retaining essential safeguards. 

All are welcome to join this session hosted by the Peace, Justice, and Stewardship of Creation Mission Team (PJSC). We will be meeting in the Ross Davis room at 9:00AM.
