Adult Ed Session - Red Hill & Environmental Issues

Madison Owens will talk about the Red Hill water crisis and provide an update on the Navy Closure Task Force and recent developments in defueling the tanks. She will also share her personal experiences working on the frontlines with community organizers and the Community Representation Initiative for Red Hill. She will inform us about the WAI bill, an important upcoming legislative effort aimed at ensuring adequate remediation and oversight and suggest ways to engage with the congressional delegation on this critical issue.

All are welcome to join this session hosted by the Peace, Justice, and Stewardship of Creation Mission Team (PJSC). We will be meeting in the Ross Davis room at 9:00AM.
