Celebration of Life for Paul Horiuchi

This will be an opportunity for us to truly honor this servant of God who has been amongst us for so many decades.

Forever in Our Hearts

Paul Horiuchi, who has been a part of the life of Church of the Crossroads for most of his entire life, sadly passed away in the wee hours of Thursday morning, January 26. His transition was peaceful, and he clearly was ready to enter into the gracious arms of God and be present once again with his Mom and Dad. 

Paul was like St. Francis with his unconditional love for all people, for God’s Creation, and all God’s creatures. When it was lawn mowing day, the egrets would flock to the church staying long after they had had their fill of bugs, mostly to just hang with Paul. Visitors to the church and our many tenants felt the same sense of welcome from him. All of us will miss this gentle servant of God so very much. Let’s just let his wondrous, generous spirit continue to be a part of our everyday lives.
