The public is invited to attend the 2024 Watada Lectures at UH-Manoa (Friday) and Church of the Crossroads (Saturday). This year’s Lectures are centered around Dr. Kamanamaikalani Beamer's upcoming book "Waiwai: Water and the Future of Hawaiʻi." Saturday’s session at Crossroads will feature esteemed panelists Dr. Kamanamaikalani Beamer, Kapuaʻala Sproat, JD, and Wayne Tanaka who will enlighten us with their perspectives.

Church of the Crossroads, a United Church of Christ Just Peace, Open and Affirming and Greening Congregation, holds the biennial Umematsu and Yasu Watada Lectures of Peace, Social Justice and the Environment with support from The Watada Lectures Fund, established by Kathy Watada Wurfel and her late husband David Wurfel.
